Payflex Protect Plus

Payflex Protect Lite or Plus Death, Disability and Retrenchment Policy

This policy is owned by Payflex and is administered by Zestlife and underwritten by Guardrisk Life Limited (“the Insurer”).

You are the life insured and the benefits will be paid to Payflex in the event of your death, permanent disability or retrenchment, to settle your outstanding Payflex account balance (limited to a maximum amount of R12 000).

There are two types of credit life insurance, mandatory credit life insurance and optional credit life insurance. The Payflex Protect Lite or Plus policy is an optional credit life insurance policy which means that it is at your option that you take out this credit life policy, it is not a requirement or condition of your Payflex account.

In addition an amount of R5 000 will be paid to your estate in the event of your death or to you in the event of your permanent disability. Payflex will pay the premiums annually in advance but will recover the premium amount from you as part of your Payflex account liability. Please read the policy carefully.
