Activewear Trends 2020

Is your activewear in need of an urgent upgrade? Bright colours, pockets and eco-conscious activewear are among the major fitness clothing trends set to dominate 2020, according to Lyst’s Activewear 2020: The State of Fitness Fashion.

Whatever way you look at it, the global sportswear market is the fastest growing market in the fashion category and is expected to reach almost $550 Billion by 2024.   So, whether activewear functions as your everyday wardrobe, or you actually work out in it (we’re not judging either way), Payflex outlines a selection of our favourite fitness clothing trends from our store directory. The best thing about it is you can have it all now, and pay later! (Yes, we know we’re awesome).

Fitness Clothing Trend 1:  One-pieces

One piece bodysuits are definitely a growing fitness clothing trend. Lyst found demand for bodysuits and leotards collectively grew 83% in 2019,  and has increased an additional 21% since the beginning of January. If the thought of wearing a bodysuit scares you, don’t worry you’re not alone. But, if you wear it in the right way, you could have yourself a winning outfit. Pair it with a cool pair of sneakers and a sweatshirt around your waist and you’re ready to go!
